How we rank results

Which companies appear

A company appears for a location when it has an explicit service area covering that location. A registered office nearby is not treated as coverage.

Organic ordering

By default, results are ordered by the completeness of published information: description, services, published fees, contract terms and service areas. You can also sort by name or by most recently updated.

What does not affect ranking

Organic positions are never sold. Claiming a profile, receiving enquiries or any commercial relationship does not change the organic order.

Sponsored placements

We may offer sponsored placements in future. They will always be labelled "Sponsored", shown separately from organic results, limited in number and only shown in areas a company actually serves.
